Governance Initiatives (G) Risk Management
Risk Management Structure
Based on its Risk Management Rules, MJIA conducts an annual risk analysis targeting various risks associated with its business operations. The purpose of this analysis is to systematically identify risks that could impact business activities and to implement appropriate countermeasures, thereby ensuring operational stability and management soundness. Under our risk management framework, the Board of Directors oversees the entire process, while the Compliance Officer serves as the Chief Risk Management Officer responsible for company-wide management. In addition, the head of each department acts as the risk management officer for their respective unit. The analysis results are submitted to the Compliance and Risk Management Committee and the Board of Directors, where improvement measures are taken as necessary, and the final outcomes are also reported to the Board of Directors of MEL.
